C.S. Lewis called us “Mere Christians,” and we are experiencing yet another time in history where being Mere Christians is hard, not only because the world is challenging us but also because we’re battling each other. We’ve forgotten where our Hope comes from and that it comes to us all, no matter our doctrinal grievances. Amidst inevitable loss, we have forgotten who we’re really fighting. To rediscover our Hope, and therefore mend our bonds as Mere Christians, we must become childlike again. To see the Truth from the Lies. Then we will be able to suit up for battle. Together. The Army of the Saints.

“To Give You Mere Hope”

Ezer breath.
Faithful step.
Sparkles in your eyes.

Heaven sends.
“Must repent!”
Quick and hard good-byes.

Adam head
Family dead
“Wisdom” lost the wise.

Wonder-led.
A child’s bed.
Stars still in the skies.

Sticktogether

The wind is whirling.
Keep “not of this world”-ing.

Sticktogether

Further up-ing.
Further in-ing.
